Drawing Studio 2 Final Project

To conclude my second semester, in the drawing course, we were asked to create some kind of a performance piece. For my performance, I decided to hang a spray painted black tree branch to the ceiling and draw its shadow in a sophisticated way. The premise of this piece was to capture the sound of the charcoal against the newsprint paper and the creation of the nerve racking marks that were made.
